Remove food supplements for containing the active substance of Viagra

Aemps, the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products, has ordered the withdrawal of various food supplements of the Tenerife company Marco Cordone-Spain because they contain the active principle sildenafil, the same as Viagra, but without indicating it in the labeling, which can produce adverse reactions.

The Aemps, dependent of the Ministry of Health, explains that the withdrawal of these products occurs after the same agency banned on April 23 the marketing of the food supplement also "VX Capsules"by containing the same active ingredient.

On that occasion, this irregularity was known through the Health Department of the Territorial Delegation of Guipúzcoa, who learned about the commercialization of this product distributed by the Portuguese company Bioceutica.
