  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1/2 kilo of firm pears, or a 450 gram can of this natural canned fruit.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Previous steps

  • Before you start cooking, preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
  • Leave all the ingredients at room temperature.
  • Wash the pear, cut it in half, remove the skin and inedible parts. If you choose to use canned pear, try to make it "natural."
  • Place the yogurt in a cup and wash its container.
  • Sift the wheat flour together with the yeast or baking powder.

It would be advisable to use fresh fruit because the canning that is marketed undergoes a pasteurization process that, in addition to preserving the product, can affect the content of certain nutrients. Of course, this does not mean that you cannot use canned pears.
  • Now, to add the fruit you have two options. First, You can cut the pear into thin slices, sprinkle with cinnamon and reserve to add as a decoration. The other alternative is to cut it into cubes so that the fruit feels when you chew.
  • Now, if you want to choose the first one, what you should do is place the mixture in the greased source, take to the oven, but halfway through cooking remove from heat and arrange the sheets decorating as you prefer. If not, you can add the cubes inside the preparation along with the cinnamon, and mix and arrange the dough in the source. This step is faster.
  • Finally, to finish this pear cake, cook 45 minutes or until done.
  • If you notice that the fruit is already cooked, but the cake is still missing, cover with aluminum foil until cooking is complete. In this way, you will achieve that only the dough is cooked.
