07:50 — Los envíos previstos de la vacuna de Pfizer/BioNtech ya han llegado —o van a hacerlo en cuestión de minutos— a cinco aeropuertos españoles: Madrid, que ya ha recibido el cargamento, Barcelona, Vitoria —donde ya se ha descargado el fármaco— Valencia y Sevilla, donde se espera hacerlo a las 08:00.
Los aviones transportan las más de 350.000 dosis que debían haberse entregado ayer lunes, pero que se retrasaron por un problema logístico de la compañía. Tras la llegada de los vuelos y el reparto para cada comunidad autónoma, la vacuna se distribuirá para que comience hoy la vacunación masiva en España, después de que las primeras dosis se inyectasen el pasado domingo.
Al igual que durante el fin de semana, el Ejército se encargará de llevar las vacunas a Canarias, Baleares, Ceuta y Melilla, informa el Ministerio de Sanidad en un comunicado.
07:39 —Corea del Sur ha comunicado este martes el fallecimiento de 40 personas a causa del coronavirus, lo que supone la cifra más alta de decesos desde el inicio de la pandemia, así como otros 1.000 positivos más detectados en las últimas 24 horas.
