  3. When the mixture cools, add the recycled olive oil, stirring continuously. Followed by that, put the coconut oil. Make sure the oils and soda are the same temperature at the time of joining.
  4. Keep stirring for about 1 hour.
  5. Little by little you will appreciate that the mixture is modified in color and thickness, until it looks like a cream.

Make sure you comply with the safety measures, that is, wear a mask, gloves and glasses. Then do the following:

  1. Add the necessary water, based on the calculations, in a jug of type pyrex. Ideally, the water should be very cold.
  2. Weigh the caustic soda in the presentation you have and add it to the water, neither too slow nor too fast. You should sprinkle it, because it goes to the bottom quickly. Keep in mind that the soda is always applied to the water and never the other way around.
  3. Use a teflon-type spoon and stir slowly. You will be able to see that a hard layer forms on the bottom and the entire solution will begin to cloud. That's normal.
  4. Hold for a few minutes and keep stirring. Little by little everything will dissolve until it clears up. One piece of information is that the final solution is always crystal clear.
