Easy mojito recipe, the refreshing and delicious drink that we never get tired of drinking in summer

And in all that we can enjoy without leaving home and that refreshes us, as is de rigueur in this hot season that lies ahead. And although the possibilities are many, today we are going to focus on one of the most desired drinks at this time of year, the Mojito. Because we bring you the recipe for the refreshing and delicious Mexican cocktail that we never get tired of drinking in summer.
Originally from Cuba, legend has it that the first version of this cocktail, so famous in our country in recent times, was made by the corsair Sir Richard Drake at the end of the 16th century, although it improved three hundred years later thanks to the production of Ron it was more refined and aged. La Bodeguita del Medio, the place that Ernest Hemingway frequented, was where it was first marketed as we know it today.
At the bottom of the glass we put the sugar, the juice of a lime and we dilute it with the help of a spoon.
Add the mint leaves and lightly mash the sugar with a mortar.
Add the other lime cut into pieces and crush again with the mortar to release its juice.
Add the rum and ice and fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water or soda. We remove the mixture.
