Do these exercises at home and relieve foot pain in 5 minutes

The feet keep us connected to the earth, are the axis of our stability together with the spine, support our weight and allow us to move. But do we really pay them the attention they deserve?

Many times we press our feet in uncomfortable but colorful shoes, or we do not let them rest all they need.

How to relieve foot pain? Here we share some simple exercises for you to put into practice at home.

1. Flex the fingers

Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out and place your hands on the sides of your body. Keep your back straight. Flex the toes, stretching them back and bending them forward. Repeat ten times.

2. Rotate the ankles

To do this exercise, you can stay on the floor and lift one leg at 90 °, holding it behind the knee. You may find it more comfortable to sit in a chair.

Simply rotate the ankles clockwise, and then in the opposite direction. Repeat ten times in each direction.

3. Balance the weight

Stand up and slowly swing the weight of your body, changing from heels to toes. Do it for a few minutes and then return to the center, supporting the entire plant.

Try to become aware of how you distribute the weight of your body on your feet, and the importance of balance so as not to overload any part in particular.

4. Stretch legs too

As we said at the beginning, everything in the body is connected. Then, to also relieve the tension of the legs, sit on the floor, stretch your legs in front of you and try to take your feet or calves with your hands. Bring your fingers towards you, as if you want to push with the heel out, activating the thighs. Then, relax.
