Do not get into a car if you have any of these diseases: it could be fatal

Driving makes us more alert than usual, which is why many people can get stressed by doing so. All the senses have to be focused because any distraction, however minimal, could cause an accident.

That is why some things are forbidden at the wheel, such as being drunk or using a cell phone. It is necessary to be able to act on time and for that it is fundamental to be well.

But beyond these prohibitions that are better known, the side effects of some diseases could also put your life or that of your companions in risk in a car. Know what they are and if you have any of them, better not drive.

Depression

Specialists recommend that those who are going through a depressive condition and are not medicated do not drive, since some of those drugs could directly affect the ability to drive. For example, they could generate numbness.

Anemia

In some cases, anemia can cause fatigue, dizziness or tachycardia. That is why it is recommended not to drive, unless the doctor authorizes it.

Diabetes

According to experts, accidents of severe hypoglycaemia – low blood glucose levels – are the most serious risk for diabetics at the wheel. People with type 1 diabetes usually have a higher risk of accident than type 2 diabetes.

Driving phobia

Some people suffer from amaxophobia or driving phobia. This can generate anxiety and stress at the wheel, increasing the risk of generating accidents. Therefore, the most advisable thing is to work outside of that specific situation or, if you do, never be alone.

To this list we could also add: problems in the dream (since sleeping at the wheel could be fatal), allergy attacks (could make us close our eyes when sneezing several times in a row) and other imbalances that could make us not so alert at the wheel . If you feel that way, the best thing you can do is find another transport or ask someone to take you.

Remember that it is not "just a second", you can put at risk your life and someone else's.
