Did you know that 900 grams of panettone equals 36 breads?

In December we give free rein to our gastronomic pleasures and as is the tradition in many homes, panettone reigns during family dinners and dinners. But maybe after finding out that 900 grams of this dessert of Italian origin is equivalent to 36 servings of bread, control your consumption more.
According to nutritionists the consumption of a portion of 100 grams is equivalent to 361 calories or what is the same to 18 teaspoons of sugar.
So if you intend to eat panettone try to make the portion less than 80 grams and avoid consuming more sugar in the drinks that accompany it.
But so that you do not run out of eating this delicious dessert we bring you a healthy option. Remember that the idea is not to stop eating or inhibit yourself, try to have a balance, measure the portions and quantities, avoid a binge, and do not forget to exercise.
Ingredients
– 100g oatmeal
– 150g whole wheat flour
– 1 pot of canned chickpeas (400g drained)
– 100g whey protein without flavor.
– 12 egg whites
– 5 tablespoons 80% cocoa
– 1 envelope of yeast (16 grams)
– Dehydrated fruit mix
– Almonds and chia seeds
Preparation
In a blender place all the ingredients except the defatted cocoa and stir well, until a thick and homogeneous mixture remains.
Preheat the oven to 180ºc
In a panettone mold (which is higher than normal) and preferably silicone so that it does not stick, place a tablespoon of defatted cocoa throughout the base.
Pour the mixture into the mold.
With a spoon, spread the other spoon of defatted cocoa on top and stir a little so that the cocoa is inside the panettone without mixing it completely with the dough.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, to know if it is ready, click with a knife and if it comes clean, remove it, if it leaves dirty leave it for 5-10 minutes more, you can lower the heat so that it does not burn on top
Let cool and ready you will have a lower option in calories and sugar.
