Coronavirus: how to make antibacterial gel with natural ingredients
The coronavirus continues to affect citizens around the world. Most of the sick are in China, but outbreaks have already been reported in other countries. Although many of those infected only have a mild illness, in some cases it can be really serious.
Among the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) to prevent contagion, is frequent hand washing, either with soap and water or with an alcohol-based disinfectant. Doing this allows the virus to be killed if it is found on the hands.
We share a recipe for you to prepare your own antibacterial gel with natural ingredients.
You will need to:
– 1/2 cup of aloe vera or aloe gel
– 1 tablespoon of glycerin
– 1 tablespoon of alcohol
– 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
– 10 drops of lavender essential oil
– 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
– 1/2 cup of distilled water
Process
First, you should mix aloe vera, alcohol, and glycerin in a bowl. Besides, combine all the essential oils and add to the previous preparation. Stir well and add the water little by little, until achieving the perfect consistency.
Once the gel is obtained, pack and store. Super easy!

Why is it effective?
Alcohol is itself a powerful antibacterial agent, but when combined with essential oils, amazing efficiency is achieved.
Other essential oils that you can use in the preparation and that have important antibacterial qualities are thyme, clove, cinnamon and grapefruit.
The aloe vera gel, in addition to helping to give consistency to the preparation, will allow your hands to look soft and incredible, as well as clean.
As you can see, it is a perfect combination of ingredients.
