If we don’t remove these unwanted weeds, these They take away the strength of the plant and take away the nutrients from the ground or from the pot.

Invasive weeds in the garden steal nutrients from plants that we do want to have.

The first thing you have to do is aerate the grass. To do this, make some slits about 10 cm deep with a pitchfork.

In this way, the earth will be oxygenated. Next, you must scarify the land, that is, remove the layer made of dead leaves, remains of weeds and roots that do not allow water and nutrients to reach the roots of the grass. You will need to pass a rake to lift that yellowish mantle that has formed.

The land will then be ready for a reseeding of the lawn that suits the conditions where you live. Do not forget to add sulfates and natural fertilizers to fertilize the land and thus improve its quality.

4. Plant new species

This is one of the most fun activities, because it’s time to add new species to our yard. Once the garden is ready and free of weeds, we must check which species we can plant and in which section.

We suggest that you make a sketch of the patio and indicate the cardinal points for evaluate how the light falls on each corner. The areas that can be delimited are the following:

  • Trees.
  • Shrubbery.
  • Flowers.
  • Cactus.
  • Furniture.

Among them we can mention hyacinths, daffodils and tulips. To these species we add the classic pansies and petuñas, whose flowering is expected in early summer.

If you want to see immediate results, then it’s a good idea to tour the nursery and opt for already mature plants and transplant them in your garden. Try to combine between the different species to achieve balance and harmony.
